Renewable Energy Vehicle -- Minus Emission Vehicle

Specifications:

FUEL STORAGE TANK:

11,390 Cubic inch filament wound composite; 12,000 PSI design; 5,000 PSI Test; 3,000 PSI DOT Approved hydrogen storage pressure for road use. This tank cannot be penetrated by .357 Magnum pistol shots using standard police loads. This design withstands the blast of a full stick of dynamite and still passes DOT pressure tests. If penetrated by drilling through the composite, the tank leaks but fuel does not explode. Normal refueling takes less that 10 minutes.

PRESSURE REGULATOR:

Impco Model E.

FUEL METERING:

Special metering valve in hydrogen delivery manifold, which delivers hydrogen/air mixture directly into each cylinder.

FUEL CONTROL:

Special hydrogen intake for each cylinder.

AIR CONTROL:

Normal intake valve for each cylinder.

IGNITION:

0 to 4 degree in advance of top dead center by a conventional spark ignition system.

Emissions:

HYDROCARBONS:

NONE.

CARBON MONOXIDE:

NONE.

CARBON DIOXIDE:

NONE.

SMOG:

NONE: Because there are  no hydrocarbons or carbonaceous particulate emissions. This vehicle actually CLEANS THE AIR as it operates.

History Of Vehicle:

This vehicle was originally developed or Dr. Robert Zweig, a lung physician whose research showed that by age 12 the average city dweller has impaired lung function, and that many diseases of the lungs are associated with automotive emissions from hydrocarbon fuels. Driving hydrogen-powered (minus emission) vehicles was one of Dr. Zweig's preventive medicine prescriptions.
